#AHAIKU4U aims to answer the timely question: how much is known about yourself and individuals similar to you based on data gathered from online sources? Haikus were generated by asking three questions, the user’s name, birth place and favourite color, and by using data from Kaggle, Socrata, OpenData, FiveThirtyEight, and Google Public Data Sets. Information would be gathered from all databases, then would be run through a syntax checker prior to receiving the final 5-7-5 syllable haiku poem. Each individualized haiku was then typeset using the original typewriter of the resident doctor from the Norris Point Cottage Hospital (now the Julia Ann Walsh Centre).
