A CAPTCHA, which stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart, is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether the user is human or not. CAPTCHAs are designed to be easily solvable by humans but difficult for automated programs or bots. But what happens as bots become smarter and CAPTCHAs become increasingly difficult for humans to solve? What’s left to assure us that we’re really human?
